Drawing Fundamentals: Drawing People and Objects.

Art Lessons: Series One

GUAC Studios: 2 HOUR ART SESSIONS.

A Series of Classes to teach basic drawing elements for drawing the human (and human-like) figures.
Lesson One: Body, Shape, Gesture
Lesson Two: Focus on the Face, Eyes, Mouth, Nose, Ears.
Lesson Three: Gesture and Posture
Lesson Four: Expression and Movement
Lesson Five: Complete Composition

Students can choose to take the traditional human figure, and learn to adapt to an anime style of drawing.  We will look at structure of the human form.  All lessons are suitable for children and age appropriate.

I spent the evening down at Redondo Beach while David took a run with his Cross Country team.

In that hour or so, I did a little watercolor exercise.

With the evening light it was a challenge to get the tone of the sun just right.

The yellow in my palette was very bright, 

Watercolor is such a neat medium, and suitable for these late day paint sessions.
