Suzanne Gibson born in Preston, England. She moved to Torrance, California as a young child with her family, and has made the South Bay home for over 30 years.
Attended San Francisco State University and earned a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Interior Design & Housing. After graduation, Suzanne returned to the South Bay and established her Fine Art & Interior Design business.
Inspired by the world we live in, where we live, and the people around her, especially children, she works in a variety of mediums: oil, acrylic, watercolor, mosaics, pastel, collage, sculptured papers and colored pencils. Suzanne’s educational focus it to bring art to all students, regardless of skill, experience, or financial situation.
Suzanne also provides instruction for Girl Scouts & Boy Scouts who are working towards Art Badges & Belt Loops. She has been an active docent for Adventures in Art (Torrance) since 2007.
In 2013 Suzanne expanded her art instruction to Buford
and Felton Elementary Schools in Lennox and has since launched the ARTGAP, a non-profit art education program. The outreach of the ArtGAP brings art and
experiences to Dapplegray Elementary in Palos Verdes, After school Programs in
San Pedro, and the Parks and Recreation Art Program in Manhattan Beach. Art has no boundaries.
Mural installations include: “Chicka Chicka Boom Boom” mural, St. James Catholic Pre-school,
Redondo Beach. “California Citrus”, private residence, Los Feliz, California. “A
